Dr. Robert Welch IV, 69, died peacefully on February 1, 2015 in Bend, OR.
Robert was born on June 5, 1945 in San Diego, CA to Robert Welch III and Caroline Welch. He attended University of San Diego for pre-medicine and graduated from University of San Francisco in 1973 with his medical degree. He married Kathy Ryan in 1966, and the couple had three children. He practiced general medicine at the Bend Memorial Clinic for 27 years.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kathy; their children, Jennifer Lowell, Robert Welch V, and Mark Welch; and his grandchildren, Ben and Carly Lowell. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Caroline; and his brother, Greg Welch.
A funeral is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. Rev. Matthew Jones will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Roberts's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 123 Main St. Bend, OR 97701.
