Edna Consuela Jamilla, 91, passed away on Jan. 28, 2018 at Healing Hands Hospice in Beaverton, Ore.
Edna was born Edna Burton on Sept. 13, 1926 to parents Theodore and Nina Burton in San Francisco, Calif. Her family moved to Beaverton in 1938, where she remained for the rest of her life. Edna had a love of mechanics and took over her father's auto repair shop, Parts, upon his retirement in 1965. She married Walker Jamilla on Jan. 18, 1944.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Emily Montana; her grandsons, Walker James Jamilla and Jason Montana; her sister, Holly Davis; and her four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Walker; her parents; her son, Luke Jamilla; and her daughter, Candace Jamilla.
Services will be held on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Holy Chapel in Beaverton, Ore. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the hospice caretakers from Healing Hands, especially Janet Kane and Tyrell Wilson.
