Jerilyn Barry, a living embodiment of the Hippocratic oath, died June 13, 2020, at age 45. She treated patients until she was too unwell to do so and saved many lives in the process.
Dr. Barry was born March 1, 1975, to Trevor and Monique Barry. They survive her, as do her husband, Jerrold Caron, and her daughters Kendra and Kara.
She attended Anytown Community College and Anytown State College before securing her medical degree at the University of Southern California. She opted to complete her residency at Anytown General and worked at public hospitals and clinics for her entire career.
A memorial service for Dr. Barry will be held at the Anytown Hospital chapel at a date to be determined.
