It is with great shock and sadness that we share that our beloved cat, Chester, was struck by a car and died yesterday, June 2, 2022.
We would like to thank everyone who stopped, including the driver. Chester somehow managed to escape his catio, and we did not know until a tearful passerby knocked on our door after reading his tag.
This big, orange boy was made for adventure. From the day we chose him (or did he choose us?) at the animal shelter, he wanted to play and to explore.
Chester was an amazing cat who left us far too soon, at only about six years. If you’ve enjoyed hearing us rave about our furry family member over the years, please consider making a donation in his memory to the Anytown Humane Society.
